Summer of 1995, the best time of my life. Imagine: 50 bright students aged 16-18 who registered, competed and paid over $1600 CAD each to spend one month together in a science/business/leadership summer camp miles away from home. Imagine creating a professional business plan and product prototype in less than a week, not sleeping much because you just want to live each day to the fullest, making life-long friends in a short amount of time, discovering what teamwork and individual potential combined can help you achieve in life. That's Shad Valley, and they have it every year in Canada in a dozen university campuses. Man, I miss those times!
